Nature has seized many untrustworthy places around the world. Melisani Cave is one of them.

It is located about 5 km east of the small island of Sami on the east coast of the Greek island of Kefalina.

It is surrounded by forests and has a lake in it.

People come to this place to enjoy boating.

The cave is about 100 meters long and has a lake in about a third of the cave.

The Melisani Cave was discovered in 1951.

It was opened to tourists in 1933. To the west of the cave is a mountain slope. The shape of the cave is 'B'. It has water on both sides and islands in the middle.

The first part is exposed to the sun and the other part is less exposed to heat. A large number of tourists come to enjoy the place on dry days.
