Tributes to the peace of the ancestors in the Mahalaya:
According to the
scriptures, each new moon is a holy day for the ancestors. In Hinduism, the
month of Ashwin is called the holy month and occurs once a year. This tradition
has been observed for generations. The new moon of the month of Ashwin is
called the Supreme Father's New Moon or Mahalaya. It is very good and fruitful
to pay homage to our ancestors on this day.
In the new moon, offer
water and light a lamp at the base of an ash tree for the salvation of the
Mahalaya or all the ancestors.
The ancestors live on
horseback. So worshiping the ash tree on this day brings peace to the ancestral
soul.
Going around on
horseback on this day removes the satellites, rays, and how many in the
horoscope.
On this day, the flag
of the goddess, Lakshmi is obtained by hoisting the flag in the temple of Lord
Vishnu.
In the Mahalaya,
virtue is attained by food and Brahmin food. Or donate flour, fruits, gum, and
vegetables to Brahmins.
On the day of
Mahalaya, the ancestors are happy to offer black money in a holy river.
Make 5 cakes of rice
flour, tie it in a red cloth, and soak it in the river water.
Add fresh yogurt,
zodiac, and rice to the river during the menstrual cycle and float in the
river.
On New Year's Eve,
feed the fish flour and the ants to eat the flour mixed with honey.
The patriarchs are
pleased by the burning of cow dung and the addition of ghee-gum to it.
Donate money to
Shanidev on the new moon day, as well as donations of black harad, iron, and
black cloth.
Applying water, black
ink, and milk on Shiva's penis brings good results.
New moon days should
be free from anger, distress, and any kind of immorality.
Filling the stomach of
the hungry on the occasion of patriarchy brings endless fulfillment. It is also
a good idea to donate salt on this day.

Donating gold

auspicious.
