Indian Railway Clone Train Started
A new train clone train was launched in New Delhi. Due to the heavy traffic on the route, the Indian Railways has decided to run 40 clone trains. The clone train has been going on since September 21 and bookings have started from the 19th of this month.
The clone train is expected to travel to Bihar at the latest.
Of the 40 trains that the railways have decided to run, 36 will have Humsafar train coaches. The price of tickets for these trains will be the same as the price of Humsafar train tickets.
Benefits of Clone Train - This train is designed for passengers on the waiting list.
Although the train for which the passenger has booked the ticket and it is not confirmed, another train with the same number for the passenger will run on the same route and the train will run 1 hour after the main train time.
Railways have plans to run 20 trains in the initial phase and 20 more later.
The train will run on all routes with the highest number of waiting list passengers.
The train was first conceived under former Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu to run the train, but it did not work. Will be notified.
